I could say since you support the Palestinians you are my mortal enemy. I could say that entire Israeli families have been shot, buses have been blown up, and children have been killed. We could go on this argument forever. There are injustices and murders on each side, I'll admit that.

But why do we not try to make peace with eachother? Maybe not entire countries, but one community at a time. I'll admit that the Israelis are handling the Palestinians in a way that I do not approve of sometimes. But it is hard. I grew up learning that the land of Israel was for the Jews, just as I am sure you grew up learning that the area called Palestine is for the Palestinians. We need a homeland just as much as you do. The past has told me that. But me posting that the Palestinians are bad and the Israelis are good gets me nowhere. I cannot be true that all Israelis are bad people whose only goal is to destroy the Palestinians and I cannot accept that all Palestinians are people bent on the destruction of Israel.

So I am extending to you my sympathies only to the point that this guy may have been murdered by accident. Or he could have been on a most wanted list by the Israelis. Who knows? I haven't been given all the facts. I just want peace for Israel and Palestine and posting this sort of thing will not get us anywhere by that. Don't you?

Is a photo manipulator nowadays, but I said suddenly: “ Hell no, I’ve seen too much before and still seeing things like these” everyday I have to listen to “ a number of Palestinians died by Israeli gun fire… Palestinian kids filled with blood carried to the hospitals and see it on TVs, I swear that these things happens too much and see it, so people began to think it’s like ordinary. And if we’re talking about the facts about what did they teach me in school or what did they teach you or anybody else, in all kind of facts hidden or shown, this is not a way to treat people, people, families, I’m not talking about another soldier they shot did in the street, where is that Palestinian army anyway? I’ve never seen one actually; it’s not a way at all. Machine guns against hope and stones.
Didn’t you hear about the American organizations in Palestine and world organizations that supports human rights in Palestine, didn’t you hear about Muhammad Al Dorra, that kid that was killed and he was hiding next to his father and they couldn’t move because of the Israeli machine guns all around them, the scene we saw on TV and shocked the world. Haven’t you also heard about Rachel Corrie, the American girl that was standing in front a Bulldozer that wanted to destroy a palestinian citizen house, that Bulldozer moved over her body and ended her life. She fought for a reason she believed in and I do believe it too. Read the previous journal.
I hate no Jews or Israelis, I hate what the Israeli army do to the last living people in Palestine, as I hate the American Army and his great events around the world.

Yup... Western governments should pay more attention to the crimes their "allies" commit, and those they commit themselves... But I guess strategic, economic or political interests go first... Despicable, that's what it is!

Sharon has been visiting France lately, with nothing but demonstrations in his way... I don't like criminals, therefore, I don't like Sharon... On the other hand, Israelis and Palestinians have a great potential, if only they lived together, the problem is, Jerusalem, and many places in that area, have such a great meaning to the three major religions in the World, that you can't have one side having it for them alone... Not anymore: the Muslims want it, the Jews as well, and so do the Christians, to a lesser extent... If one side has it all, war is sure to happen... These lands have no other choice than to be shared... The idea of Israel is to be a state for the Jews... But if only they joined forces with Palestine to make one state, with two official religions, and equal rights etc etc... Then things would go so much better... Both sides are weary of this fight, it's obvious, yet they fight on... Knowing neither side can win that way...

As a westerner, I find this kind of thing totally offensive... yet completely necessary. Most westerners don't like to be told anything too gruesome, too crass, or too real that their sit-coms and dumbed-down corporate news stations don't force-feed them, so they just ignore it. If that last photo has not been manipulated, then this would go a long way around here.

As an avowed athiest, I don't really know what to think of this whole struggle. I certainly don't support the Zionist movement, but it's not like we can pull all of the Jews out of that region. I also don't support either side's brutal actions against the other. It would be much easier if everyone were athiests, then they could all live in peace... but it doesn't work that way, unfortunately. So, as for where to go from here, I'm up for suggestions...

As a white, middle-class, vegan, non-consumerist skeptic, I have very little information on this whole subject, due to my lack of trust in western news and my lack of news in general because of that, I would be more than happy to look at some alternative news links.
